Each step is taken with strong pressure through the ball of the foot, lightly lowering heel on the second half of the step

Notes to Man and Lady

The pelvis swings naturally toward the stepping foot on 1 and 2 and commences to return to normal position on 3. This action is repeated on 4-6 (the pelvic action is slight, not exaggerated)
